Temporary delay....

My plane leaves tomorrow morning at 8 am, but it looks like it will be going without me....Oh no worries I'm still going to Spain, I just don't have my visa yet. It hasn't been approved yet, but it should be within the next week or two. Therefore I have to change my ticket (for lots of additional fees), but I don't know when to change it!! Try that! The Spanish Authorities recommended that I change it for 2 weeks later just to be safe so it looks like that is what I will do - leave on October 12. At least it's not Friday the 13th cause I've already had enough bad luck! I will miss my orientation and have to make up the hours I missed when I get there, but at least that will keep me a little more busy for a while.

So for the time being all I can do is wait. I am SO ready to leave too! I finally did find an apartment in Almeria. It will be with two other girls, I will have my own room, it's 10 minutes from the beach, and that's about all I know about it! I guess I really did sign up for an adventure when I decided to do this eh? The fun will begin soon enough!

Leaving the country...

Well kids, I'm heading off to Spain in just a couple short weeks and I still don't know where I am going to live! I'm not too worried about it yet though. I'm getting excited! I will be living in Almería, a city of about 250,000 on the southeastern corner of Spain. Yes, I will be right on the beach! I hope all of you will check this often for my latest stories and pictures, but I won't make you...I don't want you to be too jealous of my many adventures! Hehe!
