This is more of a formal holiday and isn't really celebrated that much, except everything is closed. In Madrid this time of year you can celebrate by wearing masks or wigs. I never really figured out if that was to celebrate Day of the Constitution somehow, Christmas, or the coming new year. Anybody know? Here's a big assortment of choices of masks and some dude displaying a very lovely wig...think what you will...

I love these two pictures! Besides all the pretty buildings and scenery in Spain, these are my favorite. Especially the guy with the green "Wendy's" wig. It reminds me of those Wendy's commercials. I want one! That is the coolest thing! You better wear one, and I want to see that picture. Oh, and Happy Kristina Day! I wish I knew, I would have wished you sooner. Is there a St. Maranda? I can always use more excuses to celebrate and make Ryan buy me presents! :)
