So my students told me that today is the day of Saint Kristina (really Cristina, but hey, what does it matter?). So everybody named Kristina gets to celebrate the day. In Spain everyone gets 2 days to celebrate: your birthday and your own day of the Saint you share the same name with. Everyone celebrates a few of the big, famous Saints days, such as San Jose on June 24, which here in Almeria everyone goes to the beach and has fires. Sounds fun to me! So then my students told me that I must invite them over to celebrate!
